Bluey Birthday Bash & Toy Drive

One of my favorite family events this season was DJing a 3rd birthday party + holiday toy drive in Riverdale, NY — and it was all Bluey-themed from start to finish.

From the moment guests walked in, the space was transformed into a scene right out of Bluey: blue balloons, paw-print tablecloths, themed snacks, and even a custom cake with Bluey and Bingo on top. The best part? The real Bluey and Bingo mascots made a surprise entrance — and when I dropped the Bluey theme song remix, they came out dancing with all the kids. Pure magic.

🎶 Music-wise, I kept it fun and family-friendly:

  • Disney & Nick Jr. classics

  • Baby Shark (of course!)

  • A kid-friendly reggaeton set (yes, it slapped)

  • Bluey theme remix (twice — by request!)

  • Pop hits with clean edits for the parents

There were dance circles, freeze dance games, and a conga line led by Bluey himself. Parents were dancing too — especially when I threw in some 2000s hits between cake and piñata time. We even had a mini karaoke setup for the older cousins to jump on the mic.

What made this event even more special was the toy drive. Families brought wrapped gifts to donate, and we collected over 60 toys for local shelters by the end of the day.

A perfect mix of fun, music, and community — and the birthday kid had the time of their life.
